My name is Karen Wheatland and I am at home on the ocean and with a camera in my hand.
Creating images is a passion that has been with me for as long as I can remember.
I was given an instamatic as a birthday gift when I was only 9 years old, a Kodak 110 classic, parallax error included, and it was only the beginning.
I see through the viewfinder even when I don’t have a camera in my hands. Its part of what I do.
Everything I see is as if I was capturing a moment in time. This blog includes some of my latest work. Enjoy, and share.
My images are to help others see what I see, what some people just don’t see without the aid of image-makers.
My brand Kika comes from the 2 greatest loves in my life, my daughters, Kimberley and Karri.
