First night of night shift, which is shaping to be one of the few in this week. AIMPE taking more protected action, with a fair work hearing today going the way of the national engineers Union. 48 hours of stoppages hitting the Port of Fremantle and Kwinana in the next 7 days, with similar scenarios nationally.  The company tried to stop the planned stoppages, but it was not their day in court. The vote for the EBA opens on Tuesday morning. A vote for job security and our future in towage as we know it is needed. For all of us. Save our jobs, save our industry, no one else can do it, it’s all in our hands..

  1. A no or abstained vote is a vote for partnerships and I am sure that is what Svitzer want and will also look at it that way.
    I urge all Svitzer maritime employees to vote YES for the proposed agreement.
